Janek,
Do you post your music somewhere on the net, like Mutopia project? http://www.mutopiaproject.org/ They accept pure lilypond 🙂
You have most probably heard of recaptcha. How about re-music-captcha? There is some software which tries to read sheet music, maybe captcha-users would provide enough information about correct and incorrect guesses to translate scans of sheet music to lilypond?
Simoes and Almeida made a paper about publishing music (in an open source manner): http://elpub.scix.net/cgi-bin/works/Show?_id=0336&sort=DEFAULT&search=music%20publishing&hits=694
They prefer to use abc format, they also present lyra format and seem to like chordpro format for chords. Can lilypond deal nicely with chords like chordpro does?
Almeida, Carvalho and Oliveira wrote about Wiki::SCORE : http://elpub.scix.net/cgi-bin/works/Show?_id=120_elpub2012&sort=DEFAULT&search=music%20publishing&hits=694 , which can be found here: http://wiki-score.org/doku.php , it is used for collaborative writing.
Hey Piotr,
these links are really interesting reading, thanks for sharing!
The latter refers to a project called “Distributed Proofreaders” (http://www.pgdp.net/) which is really something similar to our thinking.
